Stay Plugged In is thrilled to announce our marquee esports recruiting event for spring 2022! Carry 2 College, our quarterly online competition for gamers seeking a college scholarship, will take place from March 25th through 27th.
High school gamers, especially those in their junior and senior year, can benefit greatly by participating in Carry 2 College. Players in Rocket League, Overwatch, and Rainbow Six: Siege can compete throughout the weekend and demonstrate their gaming skills to esports coaches and directors from colleges across North America.
“Carry 2 College is a marquee event for us,” commented Rick Suarez, Managing Director of Stay Plugged In. “We anticipate having well over a hundred colleges come in to look to recruit some of the best high school esports talent. We have had great success in the past connecting students to schools with this event.”
Outside of tournament play, participants will have access to an incredible lineup of esports professionals as part of job fairs and educational panels. Additionally, parents of players are encouraged to attend these out-of-game experiences as they are a great way to gain insight into the opportunities around esports and gaming. One-on-one sessions with recruiters will also be available through the weekend, as well as discussions around career opportunities in esports, gaming, and related fields.
