Biography

The University of Mary Washington's Esports Program was created in the Spring of 2022 as a Team Sport under the University's Department of Athletics. The program consists of two sides; a casual side open to all students and Competitive Teams. Our Competitive Teams compete with the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) and the Mid-Atlantic Esports Conference (MAEC). Competitive Team tryouts occur before the start of each semester, and competitive student-athletes receive a PHYS4XX (1.0) class credit for participating each semester. We are also recruiting interested students to assist in growing our dedicated broadcast team! Our new Esports Arena is armed with RTX 3070s and is open to our Competitive Student-Athletes from 7 am-1 am daily. Want to learn more about our growing Esports Program?
