Established in the fall of 2018, The Shawnee State Bears - Esports Team is the newest entry of gaming at Shawnee State University. Since the Bears have shown to be a force to be reckoned with in Collegiate Esports. Housed under the Athletics Department, Esports at SSU receives the same support and benefits as traditional sports teams.
