Jim & Jennifer Harris - Dana Point, CA

Although we are transplanted Midwesterners (Jim is from Des Moines, Iowa, and Jennifer is from Kansas City, Missouri), we have lived in California since 1986. We have been married 33 years and have two grown children (Jolie, 28, and Jeremy, 23).

Jim currently teaches English at Mission Viejo High School and holds a Master’s degree in Secondary Curriculum. He especially enjoys working with students in the E-Core program, where the entire English curriculum is taught using laptop computers. Jennifer completed her Master’s degree in Communications and has “worn many hats” throughout her career, including estate planning and contracts paralegal, marketing and graphic design, project and operations management and, most recently, human resources management.

To say that we are passionate about travel is an understatement. When Jeanne Cole first shared the YTB business opportunity with us, we were attracted to the ability to have tax deductions for something that is an integral part of our lives.

We have since come to recognize the strength and integrity of the company’s leadership and are proud to be part of the YTB team. Our personal goal – which we believe is fully attainable – is to earn sufficient income to retire early, travel to our hearts’ content, and build a viable, sustainable business to pass on to our children. Our second goal, which is no less important, is to help the friends, family and colleagues who have joined us to achieve their own personal dreams through YTB. We are committed, and we are willing and unafraid to put in the time and effort it takes to turn these goals and dreams into reality!
